The show's other main characters are Moody's best friend and agent, Charlie Runkle (Evan Handler), and Charlie's wife, Marcy (Pamela Adlon). The Emmy-winning The Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli plays Rath, a television producer for whom Hank begins to work.On June 4, 2013, former 666 Park Avenue actress Mercedes Masöhn announced she will have a guest role as Amy Taylor Walsh, a TV star whose plea for Hank’s help ends up putting him in an uncomfortable, compromising position. Amy apparently has ties to a Season 4 character, Sasha Bingham.[20] General Hospital and One Life To Live star Roger Howarth plays Karen's yoga teacher.[21]
Oliver Cooper from Project X plays Levon, Hank's son from a previous relationship; Heather Graham plays Levon's mother. Comedian Jim Florentine plays a pimp, and Rob Lowe will reprise his role as the movie star Eddie Nero.[22]
